Ecologica Spa was established in 1980 and today, after more than 40 years of activity, operates internationally for both public and private clients clients in the most important industrial sectors.

Ecologica has therefore accumulated experience in environmental remediation, industrial cleaning and environmental waste disposal, and during these 40 years, has also developed the operations  of a port company.

Regarding the goods handled in the port of Taranto, Ecologica handles bulk goods, such as crushed sulphur which would be crushed rubber mill scale, sludge rather than clinker, etc.

While as for packaged goods, Ecologica handles iron rods and pipes in bundles, or loose in bulk.

In recent years, thanks to the Port Authority’s substantial investment in the port of Taranto, so providing us with new quays with significant draughts, from 14, 15, 16 metres of water, Ecologica believes more in the port sector and in fact we have made investments with the acquisition of two new cranes, and we are planning to invest in two technologically advanced cranes to meet the  demands for ever-improving punctuality from our customers.

For the future I expect the port of Taranto to come to be known not only as a major industrial port thanks to the presence of the steelworks, but also as a commercial port because it is full of private entrepreneurs ready to invest, to meet any of the requirements of those who wish to use our port. to meet any of the requirements of those who wish to use our port.
